Apple Pie Oatmeal

Apple pie for breakfast, what could be better.

Combine the oats, applesauce, cinnamon, and water in the Crock-Pot. Stir to combine.

  3. 3

  4. 4

a packet of coffee creamer, drizzled on top — a common hotel-room staple

Wake up to breakfast, already done. Drizzle with coffee creamer if you have it, and serve.

Make it yours

Apple pie is an American favorite, and this oatmeal captures that same comfort and warmth, without much effort at all. If you have fresh apples to slice on top, even better. The cream is easy to come by too — any gas station or hotel has little creamer packets, any flavor you like, or just plain half-and-half. Oats are high in fiber and protein, so this is a genuinely good way to start your day.
